Job Summary:
The JEE Developer II is an intermediate position performing development and impact analysis for changes to JEE applications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows the SDLC process to review and create requirement and design artifacts.
- Performs software development using Java technologies.
- Reviews and provides feedback on estimates, schedules, designs, unit test plans, and code created by project managers, testers, and developers.
- Works with Lead developers to estimate effort required to implement proposed software changes.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related Engineering field from an accredited program.
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in Object Oriented Software Analysis, Design and Development
- 4+ years of experience developing n-Tier solutions using Java Enterprise Edition technologies including but not limited to JSP, Hibernate, Javascript, MVC, servlet, SOAP, REST, ANT, XML, XSL, XPATH, LOG4J, CSS, and HTML ( on cross browser projects ).
- Exposure to SOA and experience developing JMS and Web service based integrations are a must.
- Must have 4+ years of experience with SQL developing packages as well as in-line queries. Oracle PL/SQL preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
- Experience developing Class 1 applications that run in highly available (clustered) Websphere Application Server ND environments preferred.
- Experience with SVN and JBOSS is a plus.
