Job Summary:
Position Summary

This position will work on the development and support of new and existing integrated process opportunities between HD Dealers and HDFS. This individual will identify and implement improvements in systems and processes that enhance the Dealer experience and provide process and cost efficiencies for HDFS, becoming an advocate for all HDFS customers internally and externally.

These responsibilities include; supporting all operational integration initiatives which enhance the overall operational effectiveness and efficiency of systems and processes that target the Harley-Davidson dealer network.

This individual will be working closely with the Sales, Insurance and IT departments to support operational initiatives to enhance company effectiveness within the Harley-Davidson dealer network.

Primary Responsibilities

- Dealer Operations Support
o Participate in project execution of new programs including planning, development and testing, ensuring that projects are delivered on time.
o Work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and functions as well as maintain, support and upgrade existing system functionality. (Deallink, Menu Link, DMS, etc.).
o Assist in the management of relationships with partners and other functional areas, keeping them aware of status and deliverables for projects and outstanding issues.
o Coordinate and report on change requests, updates and usability of HDFS systems with appropriate departments.
o Assist in the management, development and reinforcement of content and tools to increase exposure, brand recognition and market share.
o Maintain up-to-date expertise of all H-D dealer facing systems.
o Enhance operational effectiveness by providing training to H-D dealers and internal stakeholders through selected in store visits, phone/fax, email, mail and online training.
o Support inbound dealer questions and trouble shoot process/system related issues as they arise (Requires flexible schedule to match hours of operation within the dealer network.
o Reinforce sales initiatives within the dealer base.
o Conduct outbound call campaigns in support of sales initiatives

- Responsible for protecting employees, customers and corporate information. Follow established physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, including policies regarding data protection, segregation of duties, use of passwords, and access to information based solely on business need. In addition, any company-proprietary information (including but not limited to customer information) may not be transferred or transported outside of HDFS by employees upon leaving the company.
- Maintains a current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to comply fully with those laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Education Required:
High School Diploma

Experience Required:
- 3 years experience within Retail Operations preferred
- 25% travel may be required
- College degree preferred. (Business, IT or Organizational Development degrees)
- Presentation and training experience
- Project experience a plus
- Experience troubleshooting system utilization issues, including problem resolution and follow up
- Enjoys interacting with dealership personnel

- Strong written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic analytical and problem solving skills. Capable of proactive efforts in seeking solutions to problems.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
- Strong understanding and use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and PC
- Self starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to handle mixed range of simultaneous activities with short deadlines
