Job Summary:
This role is a hands-on Load tester with active participation in the Harley Davidson Financial Services software life cycle. The Load tester will be focused on the execution and maintenance of load test automation for the Harley Davidson Financial services applications. This individual should have great trouble shooting skills with an ability to think outside of the box.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in verification reviews and/or meetings to evaluate documents, plans, code, requirements and specifications.
- Tests systems for functionality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications by performing systems integration, interface and regression testing.
- Develops, maintains, executes, and validates test plans and test cases to ensure quality of software solutions.
- Reports testing discrepancies and follows through to ensure that all issues are resolved.
- Assists developers in identifying program and/or system errors.
- Identifies potential design flaws and refers to application team for resolution.
- Needs to be a free thinker with ability to complete tasks independently/interdependently.
- Report, review, and close problem reports
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree
Experience Required:
Required Skills
- Experience writing test cases and creating bug reports.
- 1 Year Experience using HP Quality Center or Test Director
- Education (minimum required): BS or BA degree in MIS, CIS, or a related business field, or comparable experience.
- Experience (minimum required): 2-3 years Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, SQA experience, including web testing experience.
- 2-3 years writing and executing load test automation using HP Load Runner
- A good understanding of network monitoring tools to understand implications of performance on a multi-tiered architecture.
- Ability to compile, analyze and interpret load test results
- Able to express complex technical and non-technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products
- Ability to write and execute SQL.
- Ability to write code leveraging the C language
- Other duties as assigned
