Job Summary:
POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision the Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for performing due diligence reviews on suppliers and vendors to determine level of risk associated with each relationship. This position is responsible in ensuring the highest level of quality service is provided by exercising sound judgment in the analysis of vendors and reporting of findings. This Individual is charged with direct contact with suppliers and vendors.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates, manages, and handles due diligence reviews on suppliers and vendors to ensure timely turn-around on requested due diligence reviews.
- Obtains required information from suppliers and vendors in order to perform due diligence reviews; to include financial and trending analysis.
- Obtains public information from sources such as the Internet, Dun & Bradstreet and other web sites as needed to assist in the due diligence.
- Performs any other duties assigned
- Uses effective time management to ensure customer service experience is satisfactory and meets expectations
- Protection of employees, customers and corporate information is everyone's responsibility at HDFS. All employees must follow established physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, including policies regarding data protection, segregation of duties, use of passwords, and access to information based solely on business need. In addition, any company-proprietary information (including but not limited to customer information) may not be transferred or transported outside of HDFS by employees upon leaving the company.
- It is the individual responsibility of every employee to maintain current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to comply with those laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years financial statement analysis, trending and cash flow determination.
- Experience managing external vendors.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Adept at multi-tasking
- Ability to make sound determinations on relative strength of supplier/vendor and their positioning within their industry.
- Adept at using a personal computer, including various Microsoft applications and the Internet
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
