Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the business relationship and ensuring the Global Information Systems (GIS) services meet business objectives and requirements for the Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS) Commercial line of business. The incumbent works with business and GIS functional groups to support the HDFS Commercial services for the Harley-Davidson Dealer network including commercial insurance, inventory management loans, floor planning services, and capital improvement loans in the US and Canada. This position will build relationships with business stakeholders to be a trusted advisor for business case development and requirements definition in support of service design, delivery, and operations. It will have a broad set of engagement responsibilities including service portfolio planning, business case development, vender service management, project initiation, requirements facilitation, testing support, and problem investigation. In addition to servicing the commercial line of business this role will be a key contributor to GIS continuous improvement efforts to improve processes, ensure quality, and reduce costs. This position collaboratively works across groups to ensure quality GIS services with a focus on providing great Dealer services and experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create Value: Define business-driven software systems based on enterprise standards, business unit objectives, and in collaboration with other teams to improve Harley-Davidson Dealer processes and experiences.
• Deliver Value: Build trusted business relationships to create business cases, define requirements, and facilitate design options that enable business objectives on time and on budget. Leverage agile delivery methods utilizing global HD and GIS Project Management, Business Analysis, Service Design Life Cycle, and ITIL processes.
• Lead, facilitate and document business and technical sessions to surface essential requirements information in a consultative role, acting as liaison between business owners and technical providers.
• Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional and non-functional system requirements, specified at an appropriate level of detail for use by those who must base their work on the specifications.
• Perform system analysis functions by examining existing business models and flows of data, and perform in-depth examination of system and integration specifications to create and document new and modified functional requirements.
• Perform requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.
• Represent requirements information using graphical forms that augment textual representations, such as screen mockups, use case models, process flows, system flows, and data models.
• Service Management: Support service operations to investigate problems and define improvements.
Education Required
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus. CBAP, CAPM, ITIL or similar certification in IT business analysis is desired.
Experience Required
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis, service management, business case development, continuous improvement, and/or requirements management.
• Experience with developing a project business case and estimating
• Experience in facilitating, defining, and managing systems requirements
• Experience operating in an ITIL environment and improving organizational maturity
• Experience with development requirements in support of on one or more of the following technical platforms Infinium, Jack Henry 20/20, Cedar (Payment Services), AS/400, Crystal Reports and/or IBM’s BPM.
• Has a proven record of accomplishment it services and software in the automotive/equipment commercial lending environment or retail lending environment. Familiarity with managing commercial insurance services would be a plus.
