Job Summary
This position is responsible for the management of the Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS) Commercial, Global Information Management (GIS) team and services. The incumbent works with business and functional groups to manage the creation, design, delivery, and service level management supporting the HDFS Commercial line of business for the Harley-Davidson Dealer network including services supporting Dealer insurance, inventory management loans, floor planning services, and capital improvement loans in the US and Canada. This position will build relationships with business stakeholders and will lead a GIS team including project management, design, analysis, vendors, and cross functional team members to meet the Dealer, business and GIS objectives. It will have a broad set of management responsibilities including portfolio, financial, staff, and service management to enable the efficient delivery and management of the services. This position collaboratively works across Global Information Systems (GIS) in accomplishing tactical and strategic application services objectives with a focus on providing great Dealer services and experience

Leverage agile delivery methods utilizing global HD and GIS Project Management, Service Design Life Cycle, and ITIL processes. Lead with a desire to improve delivery cycles while maintaining quality and maximizing financial investments.
• Service Management: Accountable for working with supporting functions and vendor partners to manage existing services to meet service levels, manage total cost of ownership, and reduce operational and security risks.
• People: Manages a team of direct team members including acquisition, job performance, and career development. Additionally, provides the direction and leadership of extended cross functional and vendor team members to meeting business and GIS department objectives.
• Risk Mitigation: Responsible for managing portfolio, project, resource and service risk related security, financial and quality delivery.
Education Required
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus. Project Management Institute (PMI) certification desired.
Experience Required
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of IT leadership experience including staff management, project management, software selection and development, vendor management, and service management.
• Experience with managing a portfolio of projects.
• Experience operating in an ITIL environment and improving organizational maturity
• Experience with designing, configuring, and implementing on one or more of the following technical platforms Infinium, Jack Henry 20/20, AS/400, IBM’s BPM.
• Has a proven record of accomplishment in planning, managing, and delivering information systems, preferably in an automotive/equipment commercial lending environment or retail lending environment. Familiarity with managing commercial insurance services would be a plus.
• Strong experience in, and orientation toward, portfolio management, service management, solution design, project management and agile system development methodologies.
